The European ambiance of our 99 guest room and suite accommodations evokes Thomas Jefferson’s cherished years in Paris while an extraordinary attention to detail conveys the sense that one is staying in a private home. These two influences blend seamlessly in our spacious suites, where marble-tiled entryways lead to gracious parlors furnished in the style of a Parisian salon, with velvet couches and whitewashed writing desks perfectly placed on parquet flooring under beautifully hand-crafted chandeliers.

In our guest room and lodging accommodations, beds are invitingly sumptuous, dressed in custom Porthault linens, draped in down duvets, accented with coverlets and bolster pillows, and framed with leather upholstery at the head and foot.

One of the finest restaurants in the capital, Plume serves as a discreet and elegant backdrop to the culinary artistry of our award-winning executive chef, Damon Gordon. Dine beneath a 1923 vaulted skylight, surrounded by scenes from Monticello hand-painted on silk-covered walls.
