Highlights of the tour include:
- The White House – possibly the most
photographed building in the world and the greatest symbol of
power. Every president except George Washington has lived in this
Executive Mansion. Find out which President had two bear cubs as
pets.
- The Capitol Building – the government
moved to “Jenkins’ Hill“ in 1800 and the building
has been in constant development since. The only public building in
the city where they don’t know the exact cornerstone.
- Smithsonian Castle Building –
established by British scientist, James Smithson, who sent his
fortune in 100 bags of gold for “the increase and diffusion
of knowledge”. Serving as the first endowment of the
Smithsonian Institution which has grown to 15 buildings and
complexes.
- Smithsonian Air & Space Museum – in only
three decades this the most visited museum in the world. Learn why
the Smithsonian Institute had to build another museum 40 miles
away. The museum on the Mall houses the largest collection of
historic air and spacecraft in the world!

This museum collects anything possible, but got its start with the
original flag for the United States and the story behind it.
- The Washington Monument – the pinnacle
structure dedicated to the founder of our country, George
Washington. The centerpiece of the National Mall.

Each Ticket issued pursuant to the standard offer is valid for use through December 31, 2009. All orders are subject to credit card approval and billing address verification. Print at Home ticket orders are available immediately and accessible via your confirmation email. All tickets are non-refundable/non-returnable.

Please note: Participant must be at least 16 years old. All riders must have the ability to climb and descend stairs without assistance. The Segway is not appropriate for anyone weighing under 100 pounds (45.5 kg) or over 250 pounds (113.6 kg). Unfortunately, pregnant women are not allowed on City Segway Tours. Any participant suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to ride.
