Join us on our most comprehensive tour: a great way to familiarize your group with the heart of Washington, DC. Bike the Sites® of Capitol Hill and the National Mall from Union Station to the Lincoln Memorial; the Smithsonian Museums, the Washington Monument, the war memorials, the White House, and more. Your guide will offer useful and unique touring tips for the rest of your visit.

Bike and Roll Washington DC - Day Bike Rental

Explore the Washington area on two wheels, with your own itinerary and schedule. Take your bike to a Smithsonian museum, cycle along the Potomac River, or head to one of the area's extensive bike trails. Rentals are available daily.

  • Inclusions: Bike rental includes hybrid comfort bike rental, helmet, handlebar bag, lock, bike tube, and pump.
  • Schedule: season runs March 14 through December 6
    Spring (March 13 through May 28): Monday – Saturday: 9 am to 6 pm; Sunday: 9:30 am to 6 pm
    Summer (May 29 through Aug 28): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 9am to 9 pm; Wednesday: 9am - 6pm; Sunday: 9:30am to 9pm
    Fall (Aug 29 through Oct 31): Monday – Saturday: 9 am to 6 pm; Sunday: 9:30 am to 6 pm Late Fall (Nov 1 through Dec. 5): daily: 9:30 am to 5 pm
  • Location: Anytime after 9:00am, from The Old Post Office Pavilion – 12th Street NW, between Pennsylvania and Constitution Avenue
  • Return: Return at least 15 minutes before closing time (5pm, or later during the summer)

Bike and Roll Washington DC - Monuments Tour

Bike the Sites® the along the National Mall and along the Potomac Tidal Basin. You will learn about the major presidential and war memorials and have a few minutes to explore each up close. We deliver the best views in town that offer you an ideal backdrop for fun as well as providing an intimate experience with the monuments.

  • Inclusions: guided tour includes hybrid comfort bike rental, helmet, snack, and bottled water
  • Availability: offered daily
  • Time: 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm (please arrive by 2:15 for check-in); 2:00 pm to 5:00pm between Nov. 1 – Nov. 28 (please arrive by 1:45 for check-in)
  • Location: Tour begins and ends at The Old Post Office Pavilion – 12th Street NW, between Pennsylvania and Constitution Avenue
  • Black-out dates: no tours July 4th and Thanksgiving Day

Bike and Roll Washington DC - Sites@Nite Tour
Washington, DC Category: Tours & Sightseeing

The monuments never looked so spectacular! Bike the sites of Washington DC as dusk sweeps the city and the memorials and monuments magnificently lit. Our Sites@Nite® tour will take you through the National Mall and around the Tidal Basin by the Washington Monument, the war memorials, Lincoln Memorial, FDR Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial. Not only will you have the opportunity to learn about each, but you will also have a few moments to walk through the memorials and experience them on foot. Departure times vary with the season, and are approximately one hour before dusk.

  • Inclusions: guided tour includes hybrid comfort bike rental, helmet, snack, bottled water, safety lights, and reflective vest
  • Availability: offered daily March 28 through October 25 (No Wednesday tours)
    Mar 28 through May 22: Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
    May 29 through Aug 28 Monday through Sunday (No Wednesday Tours) from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
